DGE Russ Jones | District 6400

​Russ Jones joined the Plymouth Rotary Club ion 2003.  His club service includes club Director 2008-2016, and Club President 2015-16.  Russ also served on the club foundation Board of Directors 2018 - 2021.  In addition to serving as a District 6400 Assistant Governor 2018 -21, Russ has been active in other roles including District Governor Golf Outing chair, and District Rotary Foundation Committee since 2017 including Grants subcommittee chair 2019-2022.  He is a Paul Harris Fellow and 2022 recipient of the Citation for Meritorious Service from The Rotary Foundation.  From 2008-2010, Russ made numerous trips to Honduras to work on projects to build a school and bring clean water to the Merendón region.
 
Russ’ professional experience includes 25 years in corporate financial and strategic management.  Following his corporate career, Russ pursued a career as a Certified Financial Planner® and retired January 2017.
 
Russ and his wife, Barb, have lived in Canton, Michigan for 47 years, raised 3 sons and are blessed with 7 grandchildren.
