Jason Gonzales
Jason Gonzalez pursues a passion for humanitarianism through raising funds for some of the world's most impactful nonprofit organizations.
In 2016, Jason executed multiple fundraising campaigns raising over a million dollars for Doctors Without Borders, and then went on to briefly support the Emergency Unit at the International Rescue Committee. Building upon a previous role on UNICEF USA's Corporate Partnerships team, Jason now consults for UNICEF's Global Office of Innovation. As a Partnership Manager, Jason identifies meaningful ways to collaborate with partners in of support UNICEF’s mission. Jason also proudly holds two volunteer positions appointed by the President of Rotary International. Since 2015, he has served as a Youth Representative for Rotary to the United Nations in New York. In that role, he planned two signature conferences in the NY UN Secretariat, where thousands of young leaders came together to understand Rotary's global endeavors and hear from high-level speakers. Jason also sits on the Generational Philanthropy Committee of The Rotary Foundation. Charged with engaging younger generations in Rotary's programs and development, this working group fulfills Jason’s passions for teamwork, research and innovation. If you're not catching Jason on UN grounds, then you'll probably catch a glimpse of him running around NYC. Running is his (not-so-guilty) pleasure, and I'm looking forward to doing his 3rd marathon soon! Jason is a proud alumna of Pace University, with a BA in Political Science and MPA in Nonprofit Management, as well as a National Champion of the Jefferson Awards for Public Service. |
