​Paul M. Heroman, an acknowledged transformational turn-around leader with 30 years’ of experience instituting market-focused quality improvement to stabilize businesses, reduce costs, grow revenue, and develop staff. Ten years ago, Mr. Heroman began translating his deep experience in corporate and nonprofit leadership into his passion for developing future leaders in today’s workforce, obtaining his Executive MBA in his transition to corporate education and development. In 2016, Paul joined the University of Notre Dame’s Stayer Center for Executive Education retiring late in 2020, but continuing in the executive education space with the Kelley School of Business.  Prior to joining Notre Dame, he started and led the Center for Leadership at Grand Valley State University.  Paul is a hands-on guide and mentor who knows the challenges leaders face—from middle managers to C-suite executives—and is committed to providing the practical knowledge and resources needed to help people lead and organizations succeed.
Paul has deep private and public sector experience managing the success of domestic and international organizations, including first-hand experience in operations, process engineering, profit-and-loss management, customer service, accounting, and human resource management. His broad experience brings practical, straightforward wisdom to solving the challenges leaders face in today’s ever-changing, global economy.  By managing scores of organizations with extraordinary results, Paul understands the value of good leadership and has been widely recognized for his coaching and mentoring approach to staff development. He’s inventive, creative, and isn’t afraid to step out and try new things. Paul enjoys working with emerging leaders, mentoring graduate students and business leaders.
Paul holds an Executive MBA with honors from the University of Notre Dame. He received a Certificate of Executive Integral Leadership from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame and has pursued continuing education in Leadership and in Quality Improvement processes. Paul also holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Paul has been actively involved with Rotary International for over 25 years, serving as the past president of the Ada-Cascade Club. He is past president of Rotary East Charities (which supports nonprofit youth programs) and Assistant Governor of District 6290.  He has been selected District 6290 Governor 2022-23.  He chaired the club’s Life Leadership program, and has served on the board of directors for nearly a decade. Paul was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award by the Rotary Foundation and has additionally served as director of two nonprofit boards.
