Brent Sheppard - DGE 6540

Brent has been a member of the Granger Sunrise Rotary Club in Indiana since 1991. He has held many offices, including Club President in 1997 and 2002, Secretary, Sergeant-at-Arms, Foundation Chair, and Youth Exchange Officer (YEO). Brent served District 6540 as part of the first class of Assistant Governors (known as ADGs back then), as well as District Trainer from 2000 to 2004, Website Administrator, Youth Exchange Inbound Coordinator, and Youth Exchange District Chair.
He and Susan hosted their first youth exchange student in 1995, which led to a deep passion for Rotary Youth Exchange. Brent later served as the Multi-District Youth Exchange Chair for Central States Rotary Youth Exchange, which included 20 districts across nine states and four
areas in Canada, from 2018 to 2023.
Brent and Susan are Major Donor Level 4 contributors, Sustaining Members since 2003, Paul Harris Society members since 2003, Rotary Foundation Benefactors, and Bequest Society contributors. In 2017-18, Brent received the Richard A. Angle Lifetime Achievement Award.
Brent and his wife, Susan, have two daughters, Mia and Laci. Susan is also a dedicated supporter of Rotary and its mission. She was a member from 1992 to 2002 and is a past president of the Granger Sunrise Club. She became an honorary member in 2002 because of their two daughters (someone had to put them on the bus).
